Dr. Kerry Barlow N.D. is a licenced Naturopathic Doctor who is passionate about helping others prevent disease, and restore (or maintain) optimal health. Her expertise focuses on Naturopathic family medicine with special interests in pediatric health, woman’s health (including fertility and pregnancy), mental health (i.e. anxiety), cardiovascular disease (i.e. blood pressure imbalances), and digestive health.
She integrates scientific research with traditional healing methods in order to offer each person individualized care that is unique to their specific needs. She also believes that education is essential in order to help individuals become an active participant in their own health.
In 2006, Kerry joined Harbourfront Health and Wellness Centre (now the Harbourfront Medical Clinic) where she practices alongside an integrative team of medical experts, and in 2008 she joined the Kingsway Naturopathic Medical Clinic in Etobicoke.
Kerry is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), in Toronto, Ontario and is licensed with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. Prior to CCNM, Kerry earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph. In addition, she has been a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) since 2002.
Following graduation from the CCNM – she has continued to seek out opportunities for professional development including: Advanced botanical medicine, advances in research in women’s health, pediatrics, and gastrointestinal health. Kerry is trained in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) which enables her to educate her patients on BHRT and support them alongside their medical doctor while they are treated.
Kerry is an active Instructor at the CCNM with special interest in Botanical Medicine. Kerry is also a joint author on the textbook “The Principles and Practice of Naturopathic Botanical Medicine” (published in 2011).
As part of a balanced lifestyle, Kerry enjoys being active with her husband and 2 young daughters integrating the principles of Naturopathic medicine into her daily family life.
